Mr. Li
Jinyuan currently serves as chairman and president of Tiens Group Co.,
Ltd. and Chairman of the Commissioner and CEO of Tiens Bio-Tech Group
(USA) Inc. (Tiens Bio-Tech Group (USA) Inc. is listed on the stock exchange USA / American Stock Exchange).
Mr. Li Jinyuan was born in 1958 in Cangzhou, an historic old city in north China. In his youth, he was always full of dreams, passion, persistent and tough. When China entered the era of reform and openness, Mr. Li
Jinyuan successively devoted himself to gaining experience in
enterprise operation and became the basis for success in the future. After being in business for several years, Mr. Li Jinyuan incorporated Tiens Group Co., Ltd in 1995. Tiens Group Co., Ltd. (
"Tiens Group") entered the international market in 1997. TIENS is a
group of multi-national conglomerate with a specialization in the field
of bio-technology, education, retail, tourism, finance, international
trade and e-business. With
extensive business network covering 190 countries and regions, TIENS
continue to serve its loyal customers that reach more than 20 million
families in various parts of the world, and has subsidiaries or branch
offices in more than 110 countries. TIENS has membantuk strategic alliances with a variety of world-class companies in various countries. Jinyuan founded TIENS Meijing International charity Charitable
Foundation with an investment of 800 million Hong Kong dollars in 2003,
which aims to raise funds for public welfare. He
donated RMB 3 million in cash and healthcare products and RMB 42
million to cope with SARS in 2003. The financial contribution of 10
million RMB was given to the Chinese Red Cross to set up a Charity
Program Tianshi (TIENS Charity Fund) in the year 2005.
Also a donation of 30 million RMB channeled to charities Li Jinyuan
charity Foundation in 2007 which was officially instigated under the
China charity Federation (China charity Federation (CCF)), and donated
more than RMB 23 million to the victims of the earthquake disaster in
Wenchuan 2008. No less than 100 million RMB was donated to treat children suffering from congenital heart disease. In
2009, 1 million RMB was donated to institutions of justice China
Foundation for Justice and Courage and in 2010 contributed to the first
natural disaster areas in Yushu, Qinghai in the form of money and
materials worth 7 million RMB. Various
charitable activities include support for education, poverty
alleviation and disaster relief assistance has been made by President Li
Jinyuan. Total donations for social purposes of society has reached more than 200 million USD.
Mr. Li Jinyuan believes that promoting the development of China's education is the best way to return a favor to the state and society. Mr. Li Jinyuan invested millions of RMB to build Tianshi College at the time TIENS was founded, a time when a large capital was urgently needed for TIENS development. The school, formally approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China in 1999 and successfully upgraded as undergraduate academy in 2008. It is the only private high school in Tianjin. So far, Mr. Li Jinyuan has invested more than 670 million RMB to build Tianshi college, and he plans to continue to develop this educational institution. In line with the national policy for the development of Binhai New Area, it will establish an international modern university with an area of 3.2 square kilometers and construction area of two million square meters to accommodate the needs of 30,000 students in 20 faculties and 120 departments.
